ClearCue 1.0.0 · Early release

These early builds are unsigned. Your computer may ask you to confirm the first launch. Installation notes

Everything you need.
Room to concentrate.

Built around the two things that matter: the script in front of you, and the words in front of the camera.

  1. 01

    Write it your way.

Paste a script or import text, Word, or a text-based PDF. Add emphasis, adjust the type, and save your next read.

  2. 02

A clear view on the second screen.

Fullscreen text on black. Mirror horizontally, vertically, or both to suit your teleprompter setup.

  3. 03

    Find your pace.

Use smooth manual scrolling or offline English voice following. A one-time speech-pack download gets voice mode ready.

A few things before your first take.

Opening the Mac app

The DMG is for Macs with Apple silicon. Open it and move the app to Applications. If macOS blocks this unsigned build, use Finder’s Open action or the Open Anyway option in Privacy & Security.

Installing on Windows

Download and run the installer. The portable version opens without installation. Because this is an unsigned early release, Windows may show an app-reputation notice.

Using voice following offline

In the desktop app, expand Voice settings, download the English speech pack (about 44 MB), then choose Voice follow and allow microphone access. Speech stays on your computer. During pauses or unmatched speech, scrolling continues slowly. Manual controls remain available.

Compatibility and release notes

Version 1.0.0 includes the editor, separate mirrored output, dark/light themes, script recovery, TXT/DOCX/PDF import, and offline English voice following. This is an early release. Windows launch behavior and physical multi-monitor setups still need real-world verification. Scanned PDFs require OCR before import.
